Mia ★★★★★

My 6-year-old finally understands place value after mixing potions with dragon claws. The balloon flying activity for dragons also keeps her practicing addition without realizing it’s a lesson.

The dragon claw potion brewing finally got my 6-year-old to stop whining about math time. She's been adding and subtracting balloons to help the dragons fly for almost an hour without noticing she's learning place value.

My 7-year-old actually asks to practice subtraction now, which I never thought I'd say. The balloon game where you help the dragons fly keeps her going for a solid 30 minutes without complaints, and the place value stuff finally clicked for her.
