The split by age is what sold me — my 4-year-old digs into the 3-5 games while my 7-year-old has her own set, so nobody's fighting over pieces. Nine classic games with real hands-on pieces instead of another screen, and it's held up through months of weekly play.
Bought this for my two kids and the age split actually works — my 5-year-old grabbed the older set while the 3-year-old stuck with the simpler ones. The hands-on playing pieces are chunky enough that I'm not worried about the little one choking.
The 9 games split nicely by age, so my 4-year-old and 7-year-old can each grab something at their level instead of fighting over one box. The hands-on pieces are sturdy enough that I'm not hovering every time the little one plays.
