The new Osmo Reflector for Fire Tablets (2021) is a specially designed piece of hardware that makes the Fire HD 8 (10th Generation), Fire HD 10 (11th Generation), and Fire HD 8 (12th Generation) tablets compatible with Osmo. This new reflector helps accommodate the thinner bezels on these landscape devices.
Note that it works with all Osmo-compatible Fire tablets, not just the landscape models.
I've been propping my Fire HD 8 against random objects for months, so this reflector and base combo is a huge upgrade. It clicks into place solidly and the screen stays at a comfortable angle for reading in bed. Setup took about ten seconds.
The stand holds my Fire HD 8 at a really comfortable angle for watching in bed, no more propping it on a pillow. Base feels solid and it hasn't tipped once.
I was skeptical this little base would actually hold my HD 10 steady, but it clips on tight and hasn't budged during late-night movies in bed. The angle it props the screen at is just right for watching without holding it.
